Born in Oakland, CA, Daniel spent 8 years of his childhood in Taipei. He was deeply moved by the house music and the "disco classics" which he heard in the early 1990s. Daniel founded his legendary Balihu label in 1993, eventually releasing music on Environ, Playhouse and other labels. He now resides in Berlin and is well knows for both his unique productions and joyous and eclectic DJ sets.
